About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I deliberately made the dress to flatten my chest out so I looked more cartoonish. The armor pieces are made from worbla, wonderflex, bondo, sculpey plastic, craft foam, and rubber plumbing washers.
The tabbard is stencil painted.
The armor changes with every reference, So I used Zelda's LTTP design to sort of gauge some general shapes... I don't know what the pauldrons are supposed to look like, to be honest. - Personal Thoughts:
- I have always loved Princess Zelda's LTTP design, So I was really exited when she was reappearing in LBW. Then I saw Hilda and she stole my heart. I think it's because I can pull off the hairstyle a little better, since I have a long face. I immediately started the project a month or two after Hilda's art was released. Everything was restarted at least once, since i was working with new materials.
