About this Costume
Construction Details:
Sequined fabric is awful to work with and I forget that until I actually work with it! The dress itself was very simple, and I had fun trying to come up with a solution to the hemline, since in the series Queen Clarions dress seems to be made of pixie dust and just sort of softly fades toward the bottom. For that I found a wonderful glittered tulle that I thought worked well.

The wings were a nightmare for me. I tried a paper method that I found which was tedious and didn't hold up very well. The second version (seen here) is made of foam, with the wing details designed by me. I will most likely make these wings a third time, since I'd like them to be accurate to the original, which these most certainly are not.

Since I couldn't decide which crown I liked best, I decided to make an amalgamated one. The crown I think was the most fun for me to make!
Personal Thoughts:
This costume is my return to cosplay, more or less, and is very special for me, because my daughter requested it.
