Construction Details:

the dress is a hoop skirt with over 30 yards of fabric. the "white" skirt is a cotton under skirt with 7 yards of lace. on top of that is a light satin skirt with two layers of chiffon on top (one light pink with sparkles the other is white with no sparkles) i used a beaded trim for the collar, sleeves, and waist. there are over 20 hard sewn gems/ charms on the collar and 1 on the waist, plus the main center one on the bust. the tear drop designs on the sleeves are the same light satin and 2 chiffons satin stitched onto the sleeves. the edges are hand beaded with "pearls." the earrings and hair clip were bought

Personal Thoughts:

this dress is a pain to wear, but so much fun at the same time! i feel like a giant marshmallow peep in it.
