Construction Details:

I originally was going to just make the jacket and that's it. However, that kind of failed me when I had to make the inner shirt... I originally ordered it but the sale never went through. I, at least, got a refund?

I had so many issues trying to find the right kind of fabric in the right shade for the jacket. Thank god for that small shop near me and having this fabric! The lady was super nice and gave me a discount too because of the quantity I bought. I'm really glad with this choice! That being said, I tried to make the jacket look as realistic as possible because I wanted to wear it normally for like warm/cool weather. So I'm glad I followed a jacket I owned that was similar to this. The only problem was I didn't have enough lining and thought I could stretch what I had for this... I was won, the lining is too small, which is why I stopped finishing this costume a couple of months back. I only recently finished it and struggled to stretch out the lining so I didn't have to redo it. It worked to some extent but maybe I should fix it one day...

I made the inner shirt quickly. I drew in the stripes with a marker and that was time consuming and painful on the arm and hand... It worked out I would say?

Everything else was store bought.

Personal Thoughts:

The outfits in this series is something I like so I decided why not make them. I also liked Yoshino's character and the fact that it was Uchiyama Kouki...
