About this Costume
Construction Details:
The entire cosplay was completed in 24 hours nonstop, which was kind of surprising to me considering I didn't think it was going to be done in time. I literally finished minutes before leaving.

The uniform was made of a coat dress pattern, which I modified to actually make it a comfortable slip on. The front lapels cover the initial design partings I made for it to properly enter and fit. The sleeves were decorated with thin bias strips, and I freehanded the sleeves and the ruffles, as well as the bottom uniform markings.

While making the edits to the red of the jacket, I noticed that I wouldn't be able to use the same lapel pattern, so I created my own after some major attempts. This was the longest part of the cosplay!

Then I used a standard white blouse I always have for uniforms underneath, and a blue ribbon! I had an initially decorated headband but it broke, so I am going to be remaking it soon!

The entire cosplay is made out of black, red, and white twill cotton to keep it sturdy.
Personal Thoughts:
Cecilia is one of my favorite IS characters as well as Houki, and I am always intrigued by really interesting school uniforms! I ended up making this in a span of 24 hours nonstop and was surprised to finish the night before the convention!! I only got an hour to wear it at the first convention, but then at Fanime there were some friends doing Charlotte and Ichika, so it was a fun time!

It was originally completed for Anime LA, which I wore it for a total of one hour. Then I wore it for FanimeCon!
