Construction Details:

The underlying mask was made from paper mache.

The fungus shroom parts were made from expanding foam and then cut and carved to the pieces I needed. I glued the pieces together starting out with the main fold. I wanted to focus the peeling out from my eye so I could disguise and eye-hole.

To seal the foam I applied three layers of latex.

I used basic acrylic paints to paint the fungus. Colors used: Burnt Orange, Sunflower yellow, Cream, Vintage White and Black.

Personal Thoughts:

Turned out this was a lot easier than I first thought. This was the first time using expanding foam to make anything and it was freakin fun ^^
