About this Costume

I bought the Alice in Wonderland pattern and made some adjustments. The dress is Medieval Blue stretch sateen, and the apron is white stretch sateen. The apron was drafted from rectangles, and then some of them were gathered for the straps and the apron portion. The gold trim on the apron is gold ribbon. The gold trim on the dress was stenciled on and hand painted using Jacquard Lumieres in Bright Gold. I did two layers to get the right level of bling. The heart lace on the bottom was a lucky find. The collar was drafted and I plan on remaking it with a neck facing, and putting heart shaped cutouts in the collar piece.

- This is an old Arda wig I got second hand from a friend. The fiber isn't as nice as the current ones and it sheds/tangles.
