Construction Details:

i basically made this costume from scratch except for the fishnet shirt underneath (although contemplating throwing together a mesh shirt just because). i found the perfect pink bottom weight fabric for the top and stenciled on the maple leaf pattern with red and purple fabric paint. i serged all the edges and top stitched the seams. super easy pattern i made myself looking at a gi top. the socks are made with some purple stretch jersey, two sock halves serged together with a cuff to finish. the choker necklace is just painted ribbon. the shoes were flip flops that i hot glued braided hemp string to. they look pretty cool and will probably be my go to ninja shoes from now on. i'm wearing two padded push up bras and a sticky silicone bra to try and get the right amount of boobage. doesn't look that great but i'm literally an a cup so i do what i gotta do. make up i'm really proud of. i've never covered my eyebrows for a costume before. lots of glue stick and concealer.

Personal Thoughts:

shigure is probably way to zen for me to cosplay but i love her anyways. the hardest part of this costume was without a doubt dem eyebrows >_< i always pick the characters with the crazy eyebrows, eventually i'm just gonna shave mine off to save myself about an hour's worth of make up application :P
