Construction Details:

This outfit is actually the 2nd version of the costume after an unfortunate bleaching accident ruined the original navy blue variation costume that was commissioned from a good cosplayer buddy of mine NecroticNymph. After the accident I took it upon myself to find a replacement and came across a black track jacket that I was able to paint and use for the outfit. The beanie emblem was a quick leather working job done by NegativeDreamer and I used hair extensions that I sewed into the beanie. I also ordered 2 airsoft P90 rifles to make the cosplay complete!

Personal Thoughts:

This was my 2nd real cosplay and is still one of my favorites. I had a real fun time doing Jan and from this cosplay was able to take part in a lot of exciting things. I was casted as Jan Valentine for EXPcon back in 2008 and 2009 for the main events show. It was a real blast to be in character and the crowd got a real kick out of it! (Since Jan curses 99% of the time I had a buzzer I'd use to censor myself during the show. It was absolutely hilarious!)
