About this Costume
Construction Details:
The wig is an Arda Inigo in Midnight Blue. I actually bought and completely scrapped an Epic Cosplay wig, because the bangs are set in all wrong, and I can't style it like hers.

The dresses are made from a four way stretch spandex and a self drafted pattern. The main part is fully lined and it requires no zipper! It sure is short, though. I may need to whip up some matching bloomers.

The choker is a fabric tube that snaps in the back. The headbands took some trial and error!
The scallops on the headband were kind of annoying, being so small. They set into the wig with little combs.

The apron fabric was found with the blue stripes already on - it's some kind of upholstery fabric I found for cheap. The front pieces of the apron are interfaced and lined with white broadcloth. I really didn't want to make my own scalloped trim, and found this cute eyelet lace that I think worked very well. The waist band is a tube of fabric, and since there aren't any shoulder straps, the apron snaps onto the dress. The back bow is faux and sewn on to the waistband.

The shoes were old black pumps I had, that I painted with several layers of So Soft fabric paint. Surprisingly, it lasted the con and did not crack off. I already have this wig for my Mercury fuku, so all in all, a very simple and inexpensive costume!
Personal Thoughts:
I want a whole army of these!! JOIN ME! I did make Usagi for my friend, Niki, and Ami for myself. These outfits are so cute and simple.
