About this Costume
Construction Details:
A little more labor-intensive than Karkat, but not by much. The horns were crafted from a base of tin foil, covered with model magic, sanded, gessoed and painted. The shirt was purchased and the symbol painted on. I later re-made the shirt by using iron-on transfer instead of paint for a cleaner look. I sewed the bi-colored sleeved I'm wearing in some variations of this outfit from a couple t-shirts I purchased from a local Salvation Army. The pants were purchased, as well as the shoes (I bought two pairs for fairly cheap and swapped out the appropriate laces). The glasses were made by a friend, though I've been intending to go back and craft my own pair in the future.
Personal Thoughts:
As it is with simple costumes, I wanted to make sure I got all the details right! I have a set of pointed ears I wear with this costume, as well as two sets of fangs and pointed fake nails painted to be troll yellow. It's quite the process getting into this costume, but a LOT of fun to wear, and I love Sollux a lot!

Styling Notes
The wig was purchased by a friend of mine and half-styled by them (cutting in his bangs and side pieces). She allowed me to do some tweaks on it, which mostly entailed styling Sollux's characteristic hair flip in the back.
