If you've browsed my gallery, by now you may have noticed I am a big fan of the Sailor Moon franchise which Naoko Takeuchi created. It will always be my #1 favorite series, and will always bring a smile to my face! I have cosplayed several characters over the years, Sailor V, Black Lady, Sailor Moon, Rei, and an upcoming Sailor Mars costume in the works!

I had wanted to pay tribute to this series, by making something original. I had been eying this official print fabric, but they only had small amounts available- less than a yard, and the price was steep, but I knew i'd make good use of it, bit the bullet and bought some. The procrastinator I am it took me awhile to make something and this is what I ended up with! (2 years later after my purchase haha!)

I wanted to do a cool design, but considering it's small yardage I was limited, so in the end I kept it simple; a lace-up, boned, bustier.

The timing was perfect though. This year is very much Sailor Moon inspired, since there is the looming reboot of the series
