About this Costume
Personal Thoughts:
This is a dream cosplay. I've always loved this movie, and have never lost my crush on Wesley.. and just my luck, my fiance (username everythingman) is a walking Farm Boy! We decided this costume was a must for San Diego Comic Con.

We searched everywhere for just the right shade of fabric for the Buttercup dress. After searching for days (literally) we found the perfect linen look fabric at Hancock Fabrics. I was confused as heck as to he cut of the collar, so Mum drew out the pattern and whipped this thing together redunculously fast. (My costume Wonder Woman mom is under username saxon1014).

I tried my hand at cartridge pleating the sleeves onto the wrist bracers on the dress, and was pleasantly surprised to find it was fun, easy and turned out preeeetty!

I bought the boots off eBay, Mum made the girdle and I used clip on hair extensions since my hair is only shoulder length. I also had to spray my roots golden since my natural brown is being stubborn and poking through.

For the photoshoot Jonathan (everythingman) was Dread Pirate Roberts and Eric (gambit_ak) was Inigo Montoya. We took the shots along the Hospital Rock Trail in the Sequoias National Forest in California. We had to smuggle the swords in (shhhh!) but it was worth it.. This is one of my favorite cosplays and photoshoots so far! ^_^
