Personal Thoughts:

I have enjoyed the look of some of the Pokemon Gijinkas I have seen, but I've never really had the time/found one I really wanted to make.
Then, I was invited to a meetup and I needed to think of something I could wear that was comfortable (because I obviously lack casual costumes). Two days before the meet up, I saw a Togepi Gijinka that was so cute I had to do my own version. (It was just a jumper dress, I can't find the image again to reference).
The night before the meetup, I finished adding the blue and red spots and called it good.
Another meetup later, I built a crown and used a wig to add that little extra kick I think it needed.
