Construction Details:

I am overly paranoid and bought the shirt, bikini top, shorts, and tights. With all of my recent male cosplays, I kind of never bothered with figuring out how to make stretchy female clothing. ^^;

Cape is make of one layer of organza with gold puff paint, one layer of gold brocade, and is secured to a collar thing make of red microsuede and vinyl.

Pauldrons are make from a foam base and covered with expanding foam. Knee armor is made from craft foam. Arm warmers are made of a really old pair of gloves, some lace, and gold fabric paint. Belt was made of vinyl, but then I found a real belt that worked better, so I went with that. Drapes are made of brocade and silk.

Bow is made from a cardboard base with expanding foam and far too many beads. Dagger is made out of an empty roll of Saran wrap, craft foam, microsuede and ribbon. Not that you can actually see the dagger in any circumstance because Rosa can't technically equip them.

Personal Thoughts:

Looking to debut this at Katsucon 2013! I've wanted to do this costume since 2009, but I totally didn't have the skill at the time to make a complex costume like Rosa's. But now, I sort of do?

Styling Notes

Undid the ponytail to make a half-ponytail, which I stuck under a separate hairpiece for the bun. Then I straightened everything so the hair falls more flat.

Wig Review

Ahahaha, I am never going to try using ponytailed wigs again. This wig really is too large for me. The color is quite nice though.
