Sora from kingdom hearts 2

The wig

I used sandy brown from arda wigs. I style my wig myself. As for the color, in the second game Sora’s hair lights up so much then when he was younger and thus the color is accurate.

The jacket

The jacket was bought. I do plan to modify it more as I don’t like the great things on the shoulders (I call them that as its just there no real detail). Also I plan to add the white pieces to the zipper to give it that look it has. I also plan to add pockets to the jacket because I love having pockets.

The shirt

I made the shirt out of a knit fabric to make it more of a shirt he would where and not a costume as much. I made the trim around the neckline for the first time and it’s a learning experience. I had this made first out of costume satin but wanted a more natural look. Also made the pocket in the front working because I love pockets.

The pants

The pants and the red pockets are also bought. I do plan on fixing the pants on the blue crotch to match the shirt. And for the belting and the pockets, plan to make my own to fit me more but so far haven’t found the perfect material

The necklace

I found a picture of it online and made the pattern. I then cut out the necklace in sulty and baked it. I then got some chain that looked like sora’s necklace but lighter for I’m allergic and it not as bad with a smaller chain. I then had to cut and then hot glue the links together to make it stay.

Shoes

The shoes were a learning process. I used one of my okay shoes that are good for walking as a base and built around it. I used wire for the forming and paper Mache it before putting fabric on it. That lasted a few cont. I then had to redo the shoe and after the paper Mache, I duck taped the shoe for hopes it will last a lot longer. I did take a bit of the curving away but it holding strong I then used craft foam as a sole till I find something better and also as a back of the show before covering with a zipper and fabric

The keyblade

My friend helped me make this. He’s got a nice workshop. First after drawing out a nice pattern for both the Crown and the handle, he helped me cut the pattern into the popular wood. After that was done and all the pieces were cut, we glued them to a wooden rod. We then attached a PVC pipe for the handle for nice gripping. After the base was made, we then screed in a hook at the end for the key chain to go. After that was done. I then painted the keyblade gold first then the gray parts and tapped the inside handle for maximum gripping ease. Then I made the Mickey head and added a clip and a. after that I painted it with spray paint to give it that nice look it has in the game.
Later I broke the keyblade at the crown on the ends and had to repair it with rebar.
