About this Costume
Construction Details:
So my first order was getting the dress to light up. I made an eyelet petticoat that goes over my hoop, and wired in about 100 blinking LEDs. I also punched some holes in the bodice and wired in a couple up near the shoulder. To help achieve the ice-blue color I wanted for the dress, and make sure the lights still showed up, I just used a blue organza overlay on the bodice (which is made from leftover Princess Jellyfish fabric, so some of the embellishment shows through), and layered blue and white organza for the skirt.
I got a silver-embroidered organza for the hip and shoulder puffs, which I really like, and embellished the headband and front of the bodice with some spare sequins I had.

Just a note: the contacts I used here are my absolute favorite cosplay contacts. They're the G&G GBT Sky lenses, and they're so bright and wonderfully blue. Highly recommend!
Personal Thoughts:
I think this was my favorite princess to do so far.

Wig Review
Considering I bought this one because almost solely because it came in the gold/strawberry blend I wanted, I kind of lucked out. The wig was really easy wig to work with and style. Once I figured out how to manage the layers, I was able to do the updo without any modifications, which was awesome.
