Construction Details:

Most of this costume is bought. I tried to get as accurate as possible. The belt and most the accessories (so far) are screen accurate. The lapel pins are a bit to big, but its really hard to find the ones from the show. The badge was as good as I could get at the time, but now there's someone manufacturing better ones, so I'll get those soon.

The hat is my pride and joy. I literally looked everywhere for the exact cut hat. And I found it and won it on eBay, I was happy for a week. I want to wear it everywhere... but my boyfriend won't let me. Something about embarrassment. Psssh

Personal Thoughts:

I LOVE Rick Grimes. One of my favorite characters ever on television. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this costume cause there is no way I could master the Manry-ness that is Andrew Lincoln. But then I threw care out the window. The hat is to cool to just let sit on a self.
