Construction Details:

The entire outfit is store bought, but we decided to go for a more "Hunger Games" feel and dirtied ourselves and our outfits up, and adding fake scratches, bandaged wounds, and other injuries, since we've been "trapped int the Temple" since the 1990s. Sketch carved and resin-casted beautiful medallions which we carry, and he also carved a full three-piece silver monkey idol from insulation foam that we could take apart and attempt to put together, as well as a Temple Guardian head on a pike which we killed during our escape.

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to be on this show really badly as a kid, and the Blue Barracudas were my favorite team. I finally got a group of people together in 2012 to cosplay all the Temple teams, and we had a temple themed party at home, complete with trials and an obstacle course, before debuting the outfits at Dragon*Con. We have worn these many times now, and I have never had more fun wearing a costume! We've even met several people who were on the show as kids!
