About this Costume
Construction Details:
So with the costume, I basically found my white bustier from my 18th birthday party. I found a red ribbon from an older outfit and tied that to the waist of the bustier. I wore another bra underneath and used the straps of that for the bustier. The skirt is from American Apparel. The stockings are from a Halloween store, and the lace choker is from Daiso.

Definitely thinking of adding the zipper front, making a real lace choker, and modifying the skirt. The reason why I made this marked as a "4" for difficulty was because of the wig...
Personal Thoughts:
There is still glue stuck on me from the wig making!!

This is the first costume I'm working on without commissioning and such. I was originally going to show off the wig at Yaoi Con 2012, but then I learned putting the pigtails in the suitcase is not a great idea and the right pigtail got messed up.

This costume was first worn at a Halloween party. The right pigtail got fixed, but I will most likely have to redo the pigtail since it's not curling up correctly.

Wig Review
http://classewig.com/wig/blog/?p=1287#more-1287
I used this tutorial for the wig.

I layered the geled 30" wefts on top of each other (this takes a lot of time and patience with all the glue I managed to use) so it'd cover the tape and instead of long twist ties, I used wire (though it's a pain in the butt to keep the two wire in each pigtail close together) that was sandwiched between clear tape. I took a brush to apply the all-purpose glue to stick on the wefts. I think it's a total of 6-8 layers of wefts!

Remember to gel the wefts so they don't go bonkers, and most of all, wait for it to dry before bending it and all that!

For ALA, I decided to redo one of the pigtails, same method. Then I layered and geled the bangs (everyone seems to forget this...) and with the help of my partnered Vincent cosplayer Anthony, got my pigtails sewn in. Too bad one of them didn't stay on properly, so I'll be trying to find another way for that to stay in!
