Construction Details:

The top was made of stretch velour and dupioni silk and attached to a padded bra. I hand stitched the gold ruffles in place. The hood was drafted from scratch and stays up with magnets both in the hood and head scarf. The skirt was made from dupioni silk as well and draped (poorly) in front and back. The skirt stays on with a small garter clip holding the front edges of the A-line part together.
