Construction Details:

The shorts and but 'skirt' are made of a dark blue taffeta. The scallops are cut out of the taffeta using a soldering iron. I also glued on black rhinestones to add a sparkley detail where the 'holes' would be. I made the hat myself using buckram and some white sateen that I painted pearlescent paint and then coated in glitter.

I purchased the shoes on ebay and added my own bows and ribbons to them. (they are Dr.Martins shoes in case you want to order the same ones)

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was made for my groups Circus skit for Fanime 2012. Im really happy with how the whole group turned out! Everyone looked so cool!
