About this Costume
Construction Details:
Kimonos made with aid of Simplicity pattern and are printed satin and dull satin. The flower pattern on the sleeves is a combination of dip dye, hand dyeing, hand painting, and several types of paints and dyes. The kimono is a (subtle) glitter tafetta with hand-painted designs. The getta are bought. The hair pieces were all crafted by me, and thanks to heulangel for her amazing and accurate geisha make-up skills! :]
Personal Thoughts:
GAHHHH;;;; labor of love, right here. I'm really pleased with the paint job. Surprisingly comfy EXCEPT FOR THE WIG REIGBAEHRU;;; that needs to be redone. Otherwise a beautiful cosplay that I wish I had my Kaito for more often!

Used a Jeannie + short bangs + long extensions. The "bow" is actually a clip-on, haha;; Originally this was a Chizuru wig from a friend that I refurbished.
Wig Review
Excellent as always! Definitely was nice to have such a soft and not easy to tangle wig like Arda :]
