Construction Details:

Mahna Mahna - The green shirt is basically one piece of super-soft and fuzzy baby blanket fleece with a hole cut in for the head and the sides sewn closed. Hair sprayed pumpkin orange because whoops last minute couldn't find a wig (thank you crazy football fans who dye their hair).

Snouths - Super basic 20s style pull-over dresses. Fringe-y, fuzzy psychedelic fabric found in the Fashion District in downtown LA (no idea what it is) and it's lined in pale pink since it was pretty much see-thru. Horns made of craft foam and attached to hairclips so the wigs can be reused.

Personal Thoughts:

Random urge one day to make a human version of the Mahna Mahna Muppets led to actually getting a group together for Wondercon 2012. A surprising number of people recognized us; it seemed the slightly older attendees were tickled pink to see Muppets. Probably some of the best reactions I've gotten for a costume ever.
