Construction Details:

I dug out my ratty old Rukia outfit from when I made it back in 2008 and while I was appalled at my old sewing skills, I deemed it wearable enough that all I did was make slight modifications to it. There weren't many differences to her outfit other than the shorter sleeve on one side (why that was the case I don't know), so the only new work I did was making the arm warmer things and the lieutenant badge on her arm (yay for the promotion!).

Personal Thoughts:

So much freezing winds during the shoot, I'm surprised I didn't catch a nasty cold from it. Rukia was pretty much always my favorite character from Bleach so I opted to make the new version of her once it came out in the manga, and with BigWhiteBazooka arranging a Bleach shoot together I couldn't resist. Much thanks to BigWhiteBazooka for inviting me! The rest of my disinfectant group was fabulous too, so glad I was able to be part of such a large scale project~

Styling Notes

I bought a generic black wig off of eBay, trimmed it a bit and styled her little hair blip thing. It was all pretty much futile for the shoot, though, because the location we went to was RIDICULOUSLY windy which made all our wigs go berserk and lose their shapes and styles. @_@;; Oohh well....
