Construction Details:

The wings are made from PVC pipe, foam, and fake ferns painted black. The metal back piece was welded from car brake lines. The base of the shoulder pads is a mop bucket and the feathers were painted black and glued into a foam base. The arms are knee highs that I cut the toes off of and sealed the edges that I cut with fabric glue, I also used fabric paint on them with cardboard underneath, I was able to peel off the extra cardboard so it didn't show behind the fabric paint. The base of the shields are mop buckets and plastic dishes that go under flower pots. They are covered in Crayola Model Magic. The hooves are also Model Magic that has been coated in polyurethane.
