Construction Details:

This costume was made by me.

The wings are made from a base of chicken wire, felt, a headband and covered in white turkey feathers. The feathers were dyed by hand, piece by piece, yellow, and the tips were also painted by hand. It was a very long process, but I think that the color came out way better (and much more true to the actual concept) than ordering neon yellow feathers that look ridiculous. I'm very happy with the result, and it was worth the extra time.

The bra was bought and covered in feathers, as were the panties. I decorated them in jewels and lace, and the half-skirt was covered in feathers, and also hand-dyed and painted.

The harp was made from green floral foam, celluclay, paint and pretty gold decals I found at the craft store. The string was actually gold metal wiring. I probably could have done better in this area, but. It broke right before I wore it again to Otakon. RIP harp.

Shoes, and tights were bought.

LAST EDIT: This costume has been retired. It's been a lot of effort to keep up and store for the past year, so I've finally taken it down off the list. Thank you everyone, who has enjoyed it/taken my photo in it! Onto bigger and better cosplays! ♥
