Construction Details:

I started off making this out of twill, because back when I first planned this costume I was obsessed with twill for some reason. I totally re-made it using proper suiting! The spirals have been hand-embroidered. The pants were reinforced with heavy duty fusible interfacing to give them that extra POOF

I used cowboy boots for the base of the bootcovers, which were made from upholstery suede.

How was the wig colored?

Styling Notes

Straightened with hair straightener. Wefts were hand-sewed onto the skin cap, which took about twenty hours. They were dunk-dyed in pink Sharpie first, then purple, then spray-dyed with a blend of sky blue and purple. The weird sticking-out bit at the bottom was made with wire, posterboard, felt, and wig scraps. The ahoge was made similarly.
