Construction Details:

This was my dream costume because I absolutely ADORE Princes Garnet. It's funny, because once I finished this version of Garnet I noticed a LOT of people started to make the same gown. It's sooo flattering that my gown has inspired people to make the same one ^^; The leaves on the dress are hand-embroidered and took over 100 hours to do. This is only my 3rd costume, so I am very very proud of it. I've only sewed 3 extremely basic skirts and a very easy Rinoa costume, so this was a big step. I've won a hall award at MetroCon 05 and Jacon 05 for this costume and Best Attention to Detail at Jacon 05. I also won 'Best JPop' at Anime Idol 05 [MetroCon] for singing Melodies of Life from FFIX in this dress ^^;
