Construction Details:

I used a navy stretch satin for the bulk of the dress, and a periwinkle crepe back satin for the blue panel in the middle. The sleeves were the most difficult part to get right, and I had to draft them several times to make them look like the art work, but they were worth it in the end! This is definitely one of my most comfortable costumes, and I've even worn it outside of conventions for special occasions as it's just so pretty. The hair ribbon is a thick navy ribbon. The designs were drawn by hand painstakingly over a few hours with silver sharpie and a ruler. I killed at least 2 sharpies in the process....
