Construction Details:

Wow, so many people at C2E2 recognized this character! I was really surprised, but I guess a comic convention is the perfect venue for costumes like this.

Obscure character love ♥! Curaré is only in two episodes out of the entire series but her design is just awesome. Plus her first episode is one of my favorites since we get to find out more about Barbara and Bruce's past, and plus Babs+Sam are the cutest couple ever, lol.

* Even though you couldn't see it 99% of the time, there's actually a bald cap and full face paint under there since the character's a freaky blue bald assassin. My makeup sfx needs some work but I guess it doesn't really matter for this costume... yet.


I'm using three or four different types of white fabric including medical gauze. The wraps need to be re-made and secured better, and I've figured out a few things about securing the veil since first wearing it so now I'm prepared for next time!

The sword is made of balsa wood, silver streamers, nailpolish and a bit of scrap leather for the grip - for those of you who may be wondering. :'D I love making paper swords!

BODY PAINT INFO:
I used Snazaroo face paint for face and stomach and colored leggings for arms and legs.
