Construction Details:

After going to the Youmacon 2010 anime / cosplay convention last year I chose what would be my first Anime Cosplay costume. One of my favorite Anime series is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and my favorite character is Syaoran. I love science in real life which made Syaoran who is an apprentice Archaeologist an easy choice. I also love his sense of adventure and his determination to do whatever it takes to find and get back Princess Sakura's feathers. I used pictures from other Syaoran costumes on the internet, a Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle art book, and the series itself for references on making this costume. Thanks go to my sister Michelle who sewed both the Green Cape together and altered the Black Shirt by adding straps to it. I temporarily shaved off my mustache to look younger for the Cosplay which shocked some people. The brown wig I found at a Halloween USA store, details listed above. I bought black army style boots at a flea market, wore a pair of grey dress pants, and used a pair of black winter gloves that I already had. I plan on adding goggles and possibly a sword and or staff at a later time to this Costume.

Styling Notes

I used the wig as it is. Note: I only wore the wig the first time that I wore this Cosplay Outfit. Afterwards I just styled my own hair.
