Oscar is one of my all-time favorite characters and I love the Rose of Versailles SO MUCH. I'm really happy I got to cosplay her finally! There are many things I would have changed about this cosplay looking back, but I'm just glad I did it. The jacket was one of the very first things I ever REALLY sewed myself. It's made of a thick, jacket like material. The collar and the cuffs are my favorite because all the beading is hand-done by me. It took a long time, but it was really worth it. The sash is a purple satin, nothing too fancy. One day, I hope to cosplay Oscar again, but with my improved sewing skills!
