About this Costume
Construction Details:
THIS COSTUME, WHERE DO I EVEN START DX Lot needs to be reworked, being as how the humidity & heat at Otakon 2011 really took a toll on everything...but anyways, shirt is cotton, pants are twill. The white undersleeves are actually from my old Noitora costume, the gloves I bought and shortened. The greaves, arm wing-thingys, and the brim and blue wings on the helm are all wonderflex. Helm itself and the hoop blade are cardboard, rigid wrap, paper clay, and spackle (with bias tape on the blade handles). The arm armor is pvc plastic cut and shaped with a heat gun, attaches with industrial velcro to the harness (built up around backpack straps using leather, more velcro). The harness emblem is balsa wood and craft foam. Lot of reworking to do before I get this costume where I reallly want it but for a test run it did well.
