About this Costume
Construction Details:
This was a really easy costume to pull together - but sooo expensive! Here's where I got everything: Tie: Wizarding World Cardigan: Lochhaven of Scotland (authentic ones used in the movies) Wand: Borders (;____;) Skirt: Made from scratch using charcoal suiting fabric Wig: Just my Xion/Cheryl Mason wig, I used a little creative liberty with her hairstyle and combined the descriptions in the books with the two versions of her in the movieverse. Then the dress shirt, stockings, and shoes were found in my closet~
Personal Thoughts:
Harry Potter has been part of my life for as long as I remember. And being a cosplayer I never pass up the chance to dress up for a movie premiere! :D I've always identified with Slytherin House the most, and Draco Malfoy is by far my favorite... so naturally I had to cosplay Pansy! It was such an incredibly fun time~. I spent the evening with some of the best people in the world and we just reminisced about how much HP means to all of us. Sappy, I know, but it was a perfect way to bring it to a close. In the end, I’m surprised I’m not really that torn up about the series being over. It’s bittersweet, and honestly? Harry Potter is never going to be over. Never. There’s always going to be more to learn and discover, and no matter what, the magic will never end.
