Where to begin on the construction of this costume...I'll begin with the shirt. It was a basic white shirt. A stencil was made of the designs out of an index card and looking at my reference photo. I painted it on with blue fabric paint, simply because I don't think purple was the color on the sleeves in the game (personal preference in a way). Getting it right was really hard, I went through three shirts. The triforce belt was made from a printable romark material, with just using a regular belt. Onto the skirt...it was my first big experience with zippers. I had used elastic and buttons until then. I never want to put a zipper into a piece of clothing again (even though I know I will have to eventually lol)The design on the skirt was made by cutting out the design and then sewing it on. It took a good 5 hours to get the design on correctly. My ears were bought from Aradani : )
