Construction Details:

Apple green satin cocktail suit with purple feather trim. Drafted patterns. Fully lined and underlined with silk organza; pencil skirt with Hong Kong hem finish; bound buttonholes.

Personal Thoughts:

It took a lot of work to get this satin suit fitting well on my plus-size bod. I drafted the patterns myself after realizing that I couldn't get away without princess seams even though the original doesn't have them. Silk organza interlining gave the satin enough body to fit properly.

Styling Notes

I curled the wig and then added some wefts cut from pre-curled bun covers when my own curls were more like waves.
