Construction Details:

It was made from a terrible brown faux snake skin pantsuit. I dyed the fabric orange, red and white with watered down fabric paint from the underside so it would sink through. I can't use a sewing machine, so all of the hemming was done by my fiance and friends, but I hand stitched all the parts together myself. I'm not wearing the hair extensions in these photos, they will be strips of burgundy, orange, and blond attached to clips and braided into my natural hair. 790 (the robot head) was made from a disassembled fencing helmet and about five packs of super sculpey. He can be worn, but is VERY heavy, so he's really more of a prop. Also, I will have my lip injections redone and do a few sit ups before I wear this in public in April.

Personal Thoughts:

This is my first 100% homemade costume (that I constructed mostly by myself). It's my second Xev costume, the last one was whipped out by a friend the day before a convention. I spent 14 hours painting it; the paint was still wet when i got to the con.
