About this Costume
Construction Details:
I had such a short notice to make this costume... about 4 weeks, and just like most Final Fantasy designs it was full of little details.

I honestly did not think of making the trim myself or even buying the costume online (which you can buy by the dozen!) and instead ended up buying a crepe silk in too-light-of-a-blue and a trim which proved to be the most pain in the butt to sew on since it had some beading.
The mechanics of how Fang's sari is supposed to be wrapped while not exposing her crotch will forever puzzle me, and I also ended up making the Sari rather small (not that anyone complained...) I did not custom make any of her accessories, instead opting to buy jewelry that looked similar to hers.

Oh yea! The fur thingers are actual foxtails, and yep, I'm using my actual hair which already had some weird gradient going on and I tried to fluff up as much as possible.

The Spear:
Mua ha ha. Now THIS is the one thing I was most excited about making. I amazingly made this prop in 2 days O_O. It's made of a PVC tube cut in 3 parts (I did intend it to break apart initially but never implemented the mechanism for it to do it...). The blades are cardboard covered in styrene. The prop is mostly painted with spray paint and details added with nail polish and acrylics.
Personal Thoughts:
Yes, you many call this the laziest Fang cosplay ever.
