Construction Details:

In current pictures I am borrowing a friends bows and glove toppers and the boot covers were a quick substitute. No actual wig used besides a hair fall and clip-in bangs. Will upload current pics with updated outfit when I get some. Updated outfit: Bodice is made from white dance spandex. Sleeves and hip roll stuffed with quilt batting. Collar and skirt made of kona cotton. Skirt trimmed with horsehair for the wavy effect. Collar lined with extra thick double-sided fusible interfacing. Bows and glove toppers are metallic spandex. Used heavy duty interfacing in bows and toppers stuffed with quilt batting. Boot covers made of stretch pleather. Added grommets and lacing. Zip up in the back. All trim and beading took many hours of hand-stitching. Base shoes are actual character dance shoes. Bows are attached with snaps to remove for cleaning. Large white zipper in back.
