Construction Details:

The costume was sewn by my friend due to time constraints, while everything else was done by me.

The plant/mouth/thing was an interesting challenge for me since I had never done anything like it. I ended up buying foam cushions from my local Joann store which I carved into shape and then stuffed into black fabric covers. It is attached to my wig with plastic pvc pipe screws and a hose that reaches into the mouth part. There is a yard stick in it as well so that it can be opened whenever I want. It is held on my back with straps so that it is like a backpack.

I also sewed in a pocket below the tongue to hold my wallet and other things.
