Construction Details:

Reposted cause my webserver derped on me and hid the original. I haven't worn it since 2008 (freakin weight gain >_>) but it was one of my first happily successful costumes. The shirt was made by me, the pants I found in my closet, the socks 2 pairs altered knee highs, and the shoes were a pair of altered sandals. The purple rope was a couple yards of self-dyed decorative rope. For these pictures, I used only double sided tape on the shirt to hold it down, because I had no idea what backwards binding was at the time. When I wore this to a con, however, I used this awesome huge ace-bandage for binding. Seriously. The thing is at least a foot wide. My hair has been cut like Sasuke's since the spring of 2008, and I couldn't see my hair any other way, lol. I'm actually very overdue for a haircut right now D: I think I've grown out of Naruto since I've last worn this costume, but maybe once I loose a bit more weight I'll wear it again because it was so much fun.
