About this Costume
Construction Details:
hahahah this was an... interesting costume to wear.... there were no regular fabrics that went into the creation of this... it was all sorta unique stuff i dont normally work with. here's the rundown Wig: Long Magnum from Arda wigs Choker: strip of synthetic leather with a button glued in place "sleeves": 4 layers of tulle cut into a short sleeve pattern. Bias tape on top, this cool stitched trim I found on bottom. theres elastic that runs in the back to keep them on and accurate. elbow..things?: tubes made of swimsuit fabric Gauntlets: red synthetic leather cut in a pattern I kinda made up as I went. eyelets were installed and nylon cording threaded through gloves: modified sewingpatterns.com basic glove pattern guns: gutted and filled Air soft pistols *ill be getting 4 more soon* corset: used McCall's corset patten then cut it out while I was wearing it to get its weird shape. its some kind of vinyl... needless to say, 0/10 comfort. I had assumed that fashion tape would keep in place. I was very wrong. a very nice lady helped me safety pin it at ALA. then the designs were put in with puff paint and ric rack was topstiched on the top. the very back panel is elastic so I can get into it easy. waist ribbon: satin ribbon right off the spool belt: same synthetic leather as necklace, studded and I added the buckle red sash: I was running out of time for this, and references weren't consistent enough, so I found this really cool pre-embroidered suede and went over the designs with gold puff paint pants: synthetic suede with basic pants pattern boots: from Ross hahaha

I love arda wigs for the sole purpose that you can style them with you hands. I just pushed it up a bit and it stayed all day.
