Construction Details:

The dress still needs the flower/butterfly designs going up the left side. Otherwise, I started with my patterns I'd drafted for my Aerith dress, and just simply took and altered them for Ada, more or less. The dress is constructed from a stretch silk charmeuse. I specifically purchased three yards to make the dress. Expensive fabric? Yes. Worth it? Completely! :) The shoes were an awesomely lucky find in the clearance section at JCPenny's, and the wig was something I already had; which simplified my life considerably. Fun costume? COMPLETELY! I had a ton of fun cosplaying as Ada, and I look forward to cosplaying as her more in the future (especially once the dress is FULLY FINISHED) :)
