Construction Details:

I really put a lot of work and detail into this costume. It was one of my dream costumes when I first started getting into cosplay in addition to Ultimecia which I already accomplished! :) yay. I did make and wear accurate platforms with detail on them, but for our performance on stage I wore more stage friendly black heels which are in some of the photos. (pay no attention to those boring little black shoes! They iz a lie! lol)

Personal Thoughts:

I have wanted to make this costume for about 4 years now, and I am super proud of how it came out. I first wore this to Anime USA 2010 for a performance with Firelily in the masquerade. It was such a fun project, but also one of the most difficult costumes for me to date. It totally worth it, and we won Best in Show and Best Overall Craftsman. I did a crap load of hand painting, tailoring, wire work, molding, bending, cutting, painting, wig dying Etc. Another super awesome learning costume that have given me more useful skills to use on future projects!
