Construction Details:

This was an easy costume to put together quickly. I only had to make the accessories! :) I bought the dress years ago at a clearance sale and it was hanging in the closet until this year. I decided on using a lightweight cardigan (instead of a fur coat) because September is still hot in GA. I lined the collar area and the sleeves with faux-fur. The octopus charm on the necklace was made with Sculpey and then attached to a black ribbon choker. I painted the basket to match as closely as I could. The basket liner was made from extra fleece. There are bento box style lunches in the basket. I'll have to take a picture of them. The only piece I did not make was the hat (I tried twice, but could not get it hold up...lol oh well).
