Construction Details:

To date... This may be my best made costume and I love it to tiny tiny pieces! The main body is lightweight wool suiting lined in cotton, the back train is casa satin trimmed with 25 yards of hand-box-pleated moire taffeta (kill meeeeeee), the shirt is something strange I found for 200 yen in Japan, and the bustle fabric is a mix of moire taffeta and this beautiful velvet flocked taffeta imported straight from Italy for obscene amounts of money (I'm stimulating the economy! ...OTL). The top hat is actually one of my favorite parts- it's collapsible! (Go Ebay XD) The buttons are also all handpainted so they photograph the same color (I hate when they reflect light differently) As a final fun fact, the silver silk bow in back and the casa satin trains are all the dissected remnants of Alucard's cape. R-E-C-Y-C-L-E~

Personal Thoughts:

I've worn so many eyepatches it feels strange when I have depth perception in costume...
