Construction Details:

The dress is made of casa satin with details on the chest heat and bonded on. The wings are a wire and chicken wire base covered with batting and then feathers. They are the first wings I have made and the rigging system is kind of my own little twist on them. The wings are individual wires that are held with clamps that are bolted to a metal sheet that rests flat on my back then straps similar to the extra straps on a backpack were poprivited on that plate with adjustable snaps in the front so I can control how tight they are.
