Construction Details:

This was my first "real" cosplay - rather, the first one I put a lot of effort into. The jacket, skirt and underskirt I made myself, whereas I purchased the socks, shoes and collar. The shirt just happened to be in my closet, luckily. The most entertaining part of this costume was the blood, which was made with corn syrup, chocolate syrup, and red food coloring. After all the effort I spent making the uniform, I was reluctant to soil it with fake blood - however, the effect was pretty awesome. People came up to me at cons asking if I was alright and needed to go to the hospital. Plus, the blood tasted pretty good.
