Construction Details:

As soon as I saw the artwork, I knew that I wanted to cosplay this adorable version of World is Mine Miku. The artwork I cosplayed from: http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd2/Crystalike/Vocaloid/?action=view¤t=konachan-com-49617-hatsune_miku-tea.jpg I love accessories and flowers, and knew that I could go all out for this outfit, and created the necklaces and wrist bracelets and flowers first out of painted craft foam. Fabric paint covers craft foam better and faster than acrylic paint, and it's flexible when dry! The shirt I tried to make from scratch, and FAILED SO BAD the night before, so I took a shirt I already had and added a new neckline part with black ribboned parts and created a white detachable waistband that slid down a lot for pics, but looked pretty cool. The bottom layer is just eyelet lace pinned in the back, so the bottom part of the shirt would poke up from time to time and look funny.... The skirt I was going to make part of the shirt, but ran out of time for that too, and my original idea sucked, so i wore a black layered skirt I like and just sewed up the top tiers so that only the bottom tier was visible. I tried to make black lace thigh garters for the top of the socks and ALSO failed so bad, they kept falling down and I kept losing them. >.> Head flowers were literally these fake lily flower petals that I tore off from cheap dollar sprays and repainted with fabric paint. I always thought that lily flower things had the right shape for World is Mine Miku head things, and they look pretty good, they're a favorite part of my costume. wig is a cosplaywig Miku wig from eBay, bought from a girl on the cosplay.com marketplace for a good price. It's jade green, and looks better on my skintone than blue toned wigs. The shoes are from electricboutique from a sale, with red ribbon glued on and the soles painted black. While they're not wedges like in the picture, they are still cute. Kei is my Kaito! yay!!! XD

Personal Thoughts:

this was SUPER RUSHED. I hate it and love it at the same time.
